Jennifer Ferguson is a Greenville native who has appeared in GACT shows since 2009.

Jennifer Ferguson is a Greenville native who has appeared in GACT shows since 2009. Notable roles include Purity in Anything Goes, Lily St. Regis in Annie, Susan in Company, and Poppy in last year's production of Noises Off. 

Jen teaches chemistry and yearbook journalism at Hickory High School and also is the Theatre Director at Greenville High School. She is also the director of the Penn Ohio Young Actors Playhouse.Jen is also the co-owner of Expressions Academy, which offers dance, baton, and acting classes for all ages. In her spare time, she enjoys bowling, camping, and spending time with her family, including her twelve year old son Carter.

Kathy has been involved in community theater for many years.

Kathy has been involved in community theater for many years.  Some of her favorite roles include Joanne in Company, the Drowsy Chaperone, The Witch in Into the Woods , and Miss Hannigan in Annie.  Besides being good at playing witches, Kathy enjoys getting her chops into any comedic role. Thank you to my family for their unending patience and support and to my GACT family - it continues to be a wild and memory filled ride.

Kris is taking the GACT stage as an actor, after several year’s break. 

Kris is taking the GACT stage as an actor, after several year’s break.  Being on stage is one of Kris’s most treasured pastimes, a lifelong passion.  Kris’s favorite roles with GACT include; Annelle (Steel Magnolias), Glinda (Wizard of Oz) and Janet (Drowsy Chaperone).  Kris also loved her time directing the amazing GACT cast/crew in Company, several years ago.

Thank you to Trey for the opportunity to play pretend with my friends again, to GACT cast and crew for always feeling like home, and to my family for the support and encouragement.  Break a Leg Nerds!

Paul Miller

1965 grad of Commodore Perry, BA from Thiel in 1969, MA from Slippery Rock in 1975.

Paul is a 1965 grad of Commodore Perry, BA from Thiel in 1969, MA from Slippery Rock in 1975. He taught English for 37 years, the last 36 at GHS. Among other things, Paul was a theater director at Greenville for 26 years, ran the High School Shakespeare Festival for the last 23 years. He retired in June of 2006. Paul completed the National Stage Combat Workshop in the summer of 2001, directed theater and taught one section of Stage Combat at Thiel in the 2020-21 school year. He has been involved in GACT since January of 1981 and has appeared in nearly 50 GACT productions. Most recent shows are Fully Committed in 2021, Company in 2022, Noises Off in 2023, and Airport Encounters in 2024. He currently works with Thiel theater when needed, usually in stage combat.

Roxanne Chapman

Roxanne is excited to be taking the stage at home in Greenville for the first time with GACT!  She has performed regularly with ACTS Performing Arts Center in Sharon, Valley Lyric Opera as well as the Academy Theatre in Meadville.  Some of her favorite roles include Sister Mary Amnesia in Nunsense, Patsy Cline in Always Patsy Cline, Fraulein Kost in Cabaret and Fruma-Sarah and Yente in Fiddler on the roof.  She would like to thank her husband and daughters and all of her supportive friends and family for being constant cheerleaders!
